Are we all in need of some tropical vibes in our lives or is it just me? These Guava Margaritas are incredibly easy to mix up (we’re talking five minutes my friends) and go down nice and smooth.

Whether you’re in need of a little pick me up at the end of a long day or have a group of friends coming by for happy hour, these guava margs are an easy, fruity and crowd-pleasing drink to mix up.

Ingredients for Guava Margaritas

  • Guava nectar: You can find guava nectar either in the juice aisle or the international aisle of your grocery store. It is SO good on its own and absolutely amazing in this cocktail.
  • Lime juice: For me, it has to be fresh squeezed. That citrus kick is perfection with the sweetness of the guave nectar. Grab an extra lime or two for garnish if you want to make them extra pretty.
  • Tequila: I like blanco tequila (also known as silver or white tequila) for these margs.
  • Triple sec: Adds another layer of citrus and booze.

Mix ‘Em Up

Add ice to a cocktail shaker than add in your ingredients. Pop the lid on and shake for a minute until well combined and super chilled.

Fill a glass with ice and pour the guava marg over. Garnish with a slice of lime and drink up.

Make a Pitcher of Guava Margaritas

If you want to make up a big pitcher of margs instead of a couple individual cocktails, let me let you in on a little trick.

In the recipe card below, you can move the little serving slider up or down depending on how many servings you want.

Move that slider up to the amount of drinks you want and the recipe will automatically adjust the ingredients for you. Mix up the pitcher and keep it chilled in the fridge.

Add ice to the glasses when serving rather than adding it to the pitcher. This will ensure you don’t water down those yummy drinks.

Be Creative

Feel free to change up these guava margaritas every once and awhile. There are lots of delicious nectars you can grab at the store.

Mango and pineapple are elite choices in my opinion. Follow the recipe just as written, just use the different nectar in the guava’s place.
