Ingredients for Halloween Snack Mix

  • Pretzels: You can use any kind of pretzel you like. Twists, butter snaps or pretzel sticks will all work.
  • White chocolate chips: These get melted and drizzled all over the pretzels to make them extra festive and delicious.
  • Halloween sprinkles: Use your favorite sprinkle mix to decorate the drizzled pretzels before the white chocolate hardens.
  • Dry roasted peanuts: Another salty element that is especially delicious with the candy corn.
  • Pumpkin spice marshmallows: These add an extra festive look and that seasonal pumpkin spice flavor. If you can’t find pumpkin spice marshallows you can sub in regular mini marshmallows instead.
  • Candy corn mix: You can’t have a Halloween snack mix with candy corn. You can use regular candy corn or the mix that includes the fun marshallow pumpkins. Whatever you prefer.
  • Halloween M&M’s: Grab a bag of festive M&M’s to add to the mix. Regular, peanut butter, peanut or any variety will be a delicious addition.
  • Cinnamon Chex cereal: I love the touch of cinnamon sugar and crunch that cinnamon chex adds to this snack mix. You can also use regular rice chex if you can’t find the cinnamon variety.
  • Mini peanut butter cups: Because everything is better with a mini peanut butter cup. I like the extra sweetness and chocolate they add.

How to Make Halloween Snack Mix

This snack mix is so easy to throw together. You need to start with the pretzels.

Lay out a piece of parchment paper or aluminum foil. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer.

Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments. Then add to a ziplock bag and snip a small bit off one corner.

Drizzle the white chocolate back and forth over the pretzels until you run out. Decorate with your sprinkles then allow the white chocolate to harden. It should take less than 30 minutes.

Once the pretzels are done, mix all the ingredients together and it’s snacking time.

Keep it at room temperature and it will be good for up to two weeks. I know it won’t last that long though.
