Ingredients

  • 25 to 30 chicken wings
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the hot honey sauce:

  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup hot sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • You can either bake or air fry these wings. If baking: line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place an oven safe baking rack on top. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Pat wings dry with a paper towel. Place in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, kosher salt and pepper.
  • Place on the prepared rack. Bake for 50 minutes, flipping after 25 minutes.
  • To air fry: place oiled and seasoned wings in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Cook at 390 degrees for 18 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
  • While wings are cooking, prepare the sauce. Add all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat. Whisk together until butter is melted. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes, stirring often.
  • Toss cooked wings with the sauce and serve immediately.
