Ingredients
16oz. boxpenne pasta
1jar (24-33 oz.)spaghetti sauce
15.oz.ricotta
1largeegg
1 1/2Tbsp.Italian seasoning, divided
2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
1/2cupshredded parmesan
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cook pasta 2 minutes less than package directions. Meanwhile, mix ricotta, egg and 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning.
Drain pasta and dump in a 13x9 pan. Mix in sauce. Spread ricotta mixture over the pasta then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella, parmesan and 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning.
Bake for 20 minutes. Turn on broiler and broil for a minute or two, until golden. Keep a close eye so it doesn't burn.
