Ingredients
10chicken wings
1 1/2tsp.lemon pepper
sliced green onion, for garnish
For the orange sauce:
1/4cupfresh orange juice
2Tbsp.soy sauce
2Tbsp.brown sugar
1tsp.minced garlic
1/2-1tsp.red pepper flakes
1Tbsp.cornstarch
1Tbsp.cold water
Instructions
Air Fryer instructions: Pat chicken wings dry. Sprinkle both sides with lemon pepper. Place in single layer in the air fryer. Cook at 390 degrees for 20 minutes, flipping after 10 minutes.
For oven baked wings: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Pat chicken wings dry. Sprinkle both sides with lemon pepper. Place an oven proof rack onto a rimmed baking sheet. Spray with nonstick spray. Place wings on rack and bake for 20 minutes. Flip and bake another 20 minutes.
For the orange sauce: add orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and red pepper flakes to a small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and cold water. Add cornstarch slurry to the sauce pan and whisk in. Simmer 1 to 2 minutes, until thickened and glossy.
Toss wings with the orange sauce, top with green onion and serve.
