Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken Drumsticks

- 3 lbs. chicken drumsticks (about 8)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Place chicken drumsticks in slow cooker. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ground ginger and black pepper. Pour over the chicken and toss to coat. Cook on low for 4 hours.
To thicken the sauce: whisk together cornstarch and water. Stir into slow cooker. Allow to cook and thicken for 5 minutes. Serve.
