  • Slow Cooker

  • 1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pound 85/15 ground beef
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 30 ounce can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounce can white northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounce can pork and beans
  • 1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp. Remove to a paper towel lined plate. Drain all but 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease. Add the ground beef and onions to the skillet. Break up the beef and cook until no longer pink.
  • Using a slotted spoon, add the ground beef and onion mixture to the slow cooker. Add bacon and all remaining ingredients. Stir until combined. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Or bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
