Ingredients

  • 23 frozen Rhodes dinner rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate hazelnut spread
  • maraschino cherries
  • sliced almonds
  • powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • Thaw Rhodes rolls according to package directions. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Lay out another sheet of parchment paper. Press the rolls down into thin circles on the parchment. Place a tablespoon of chocolate hazelnut spread in the center of each roll. Pull up the edges of each roll and press together to seal. Place one roll at the center top of the prepared baking sheet. Place two centered below the first, leaving a little space between each one. Continue until you have a row of six. Use the last two to form the tree trunk. Decorate with desired amount of cherries and sliced almonds.
  • Set aside and allow rolls to rise for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden. Let cool for 15 minutes then dust with powdered sugar.
